Pressure Ratio Valves accurately maintain a set ratio between upstream and downstream pressures. Pressure Regulating Valves accurately maintain a constant preset downstream pressure, regardless of changing upstream pressures or flow rates, with controlled response designed to ensure stability and minimal line surging when the downstream flow changes rapidly.
