Descaling Valve
To supply high pressure water for the descaling of rolling mill products in the steelworks industry. The valve has the characteristic in that it first fills the descaler manifold before it fully opens to eliminate water hammer in a partially empty descaler system, which occurs during the waiting period.
- Throttles and maintains the pressure when the downstream manifold is empty
- Opening and closing of the main poppet is done in 2 stages with both stages controlled over a certain time to prevent water hammer
- Air operated actuator
- Stainless steel and bronze internals with UHMWPE seals
