HPE's high pressure water cannon is supported by a prop clamped between the hanging wall and footwall and is used for moving broken rock downdip after blast.

The Excalibur is used in a stoping environment shere a scraper winch is not required.

HPE's Jetting Gun is a hand held water jet tool that uses high pressure water jet to move broken rock.

The jetting gun is used in stoping to assist in moving blasted rock in the scraper path. The gun is also useed for sweeping to replace the use of brushes and shovels.

• This is a dry shut off type gun.
• The gun incorporates an inlet strainer of 400 micron.
• The gun is trigger operated with a "dead man's handle" action.
• A safety latch is incorporated in the hand grip to prevent accidentally depressing the trigger.
• The two stage opening characteristic provides a slow and smooth opening and closing.
• High efficiency tungsten carbide nozzle provides a coherent jet.
• Low trigger force of 64 N applied at the center of the trigger at 16 MPa.
• The gun can be used with or without a breastplate.
• The reaction force is determined by the inlet pressure and nozzle size used and would also determine the flow rate through the gun, although the average rate is 2,2 l/s.
